City Café Bristol is championed by the Sustainable Restaurant Association

Mint Hotel Bristol’s signature restaurant City Café, has been awarded one star by the Sustainable Restaurants Association as part of its commitment to providing diners with a sustainable food experience.

The Sustainable Restaurants Association, a not for profit membership organisation, tested the hotel on three key areas of sustainability; society, environment and sourcing.

City Café Bristol prides itself on its commitment to sustainability, sourcing the highest quality local produce from the surrounding South West region.

Mint Hotel Manchester wins Hotel of the Year 2011

Mint Hotel Manchester was awarded the envied title Hotel of the Year at the prestigious Manchester Tourism Awards held on Friday 23 September.

The hotel scooped the accolade at the annual Manchester Tourism Awards ceremony, which celebrates and recognises the city’s tourism industry. Mint Hotel Manchester beat off six competitors to receive one of 15 coveted awards on the night.

Ambike Viabhaz, Demi Chef de Partie at City Café Tower of London wins group-wide competition showcasing talent of junior level chefs

Last night Mint Hotel announced its very own Star Chef, winner of the award-winning city-centre hotel brand’s annual City Café Star Chef competition.

Ambike Viabhaz won the month-long competition in a glittering grand final at Mint Hotel Tower of London in the City last night. Eighty industry guests enjoyed a three course gourmet meal, with each course created and executed by a different chef.
